Dan's first day will be Monday, February 20th and he be reporting to me. Please join me in welcoming Dan! Feel free to cascade as appropriate.
"He be reporting" doesn't seem very corporate, so I'm guessing "cascade"? I have no clue as to what "cascade" might mean in this context ...
Let's see, how does one cascade? A number of things come to mind, few of which are suitable for a family oriented blog. We'll just leave it at that.BTW, I'm sure it's never appropriate.
Without googling, my guess is that "cascade as appropriate" means to forward the email at will.Because surely "he be" isn't a corporatist phrase.
Ding, ding! Yes "cascade" was the new one. I didn't even catch the "he be" miscue.
I still be missing the 'cascade' thing if not for good old Bill White.
Maybe it is a British usage?http://www.labournet.net/ukunion/0706/cwu5.html"We would therefore ask you to cascade this email to all of your family and friends"
Thanks Kevin, I'd love to know the first usage of some of these corp terms.
